Kim Fahner lives and writes in Sudbury. The Donoghue Girl (Latitude 46, 2024) is her first novel. Kim has also published five books, and two chapbooks, of poetry. Her next book of poems, The Pollination Field, is being published in Spring 2025 by Turnstone Press. Kim is the First Vice-Chair of The Writers' Union of Canada (2023-25), a member of the League of Canadian Poets, and a supporting member of The Playwrights Guild of Canada. In Spring 2024, she was a shortlisted finalist in the 2023 Ralph Gustafson Poetry Contest. Kim may be reached via her website

Eleanor Albanese

Eleanor Albanese (she/her) has spent her life weaving story through fiction, non-fiction, playwriting, filmmaking, and community-engaged arts. She recently created the animation for the documentary film Kam Theatre Lab: The Old Same Story. Her novel, If Tenderness Be Gold, published by Latitude 46 Publishing, was awarded 1st place in the category of “First Fiction” with Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Eleanor’s theatre works for young audiences have toured nationally. Her non-fiction and poetry works have been published in numerous anthologies and literary journals. Samplings of Eleanor’s awards include the Government of Canada Collaboration Award, the Mentor Artist Award from Royal Conservatory, the Bay Street Film Festival’s People’s Choice Award for Under the Pearl Moon, and Vox Popular’s People’s Choice Award for her film, The Cradle of Fiorella. In all her work, Eleanor seeks to open doors to transformational story sharing, community building, and activating the imagination.
